The main part of New Town's "downtown" area on Main Street is about a 15-20 minute walk away, but the route is along a busy highway.

The main draws of the area like Four Bears Casino & Lodge and the scenic Lake Sakakawea are not within walking distance. These spots are a 5-10 minute drive away from the motel. Guests should assume that a vehicle is 100% necessary for all activities, including dining out, shopping for groceries, and sightseeing. The motel serves as an affordable place to park your car and sleep.
